Marilyn PerkinsThe Marilyn Perkins Foundation is dedicated continuing Marilyn’s legacy of caring by granting three awards each year, one in music, one in art, and one in drama to graduating students at the University of Calgary.

Who was Marilyn Perkins?
Marilyn Perkins was a teacher, choir director, coach, accompanist, mentor and friend. She had a way of bringing out the very best in people, allowing them to achieve goals they never would have thought possible. Marilyn received a number of awards for her work in music and humanitarian endeavors, the last of which was the Order of Canada in 2002. Marilyn died of cancer in January of 2003.
